Description

Tapentadol extended-release tablet (Tapencet ER 50) is a painkiller belonging to the opioid class that is used to treat chronic or severe pain. Its major manifestations occur in adult groups that have chronic pain conditions that include back pain, muscle pain, diabetic neuropathy pain, and others. Severe pain involves surgical pain or injuries.

Tapentadol extended-release tablets are used to treat chronic pain that occurs by reducing nociceptive signaling in the central nervous system. Their long-acting kinetic profile does not allow their application in the context of the management of acute pain attacks without a prior clinical assessment.
