Description

Sertima 100 mg tablet comprises a drug used in the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Its pharmacologic action is through the increase of the serotonergic activity, thus regulating the mood, emotions, and behaviour.

Sertima 100 mg tablet is to be used in strict compliance with the dose given by the attending doctor. They can be used with or without food, although it is better to have them every day at the same time so that they can be adhered to. It is usually a process that takes several weeks before ancillary treatment will be beneficial, and it is only during this period that regular intake of the medication should be administered unless the patient improves; thus, pharmacological intervention should not be discontinued during the period of improvement, either in case of depression or in case of OCD.
